Newly added numbers of visits and support
From our Chapter President, John Heinemann

Dear Mended Hearts Members and Friends,
This week the board of directors for Mended Hearts voted to cancel all of its public events out of concern for the spread of the Covid-19 virus. This includes our monthly Mended Hearts and Young Mended Hearts meetings and all visitations at St. Joseph Medical Center. Our speakers have kindly offered to reschedule their Saturday talks with us at a later date.
Instead we will produce a mini newsletter with a goal of keeping in touch with you and sharing any information we have.
Until this virus has played itself out, we urge you first not to panic, and then to do those things necessary to keep yourself and your family safe. We will get through this.

Young Mended Hearts
All young heart patients (teens to forties) and their families are invited to join other young heart patients and their families for a informal monthly get-together to discuss the common issues, challenges and successes of being a young heart patient.
