Volunteer Opportunities

Mended Hearts volunteers are at the heart of our mission. Many are heart patients themselves or caregivers who have supported someone they love through a heart journey. That personal experience gives our volunteers a unique understanding of the challenges, emotions, and questions that often come with heart disease—and allows them to offer encouragement, connection, and hope in a very meaningful way.

There are many ways to volunteer with Mended Hearts Bellingham. Some volunteers provide one-on-one support to patients and caregivers at PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center, while others help with meetings, special events, community outreach, membership, communications, fundraising, or other chapter activities.

Whether you are a heart patient, a caregiver, or someone who simply has a heart for helping others, there is a place for you with Mended Hearts. Every volunteer brings something special, and every act of service helps remind heart patients and their families that they are not alone.
