Every accredited visitor is a Mended Hearts member that undergoes special training, both by Mended Hearts and by PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center’s Volunteer Office. These accredited visitor volunteers have been trained to work with heart patients and their caregivers from pre-op visits, through hospital visits and follow-up.
